Ice Storm Kinda Day

Where do birds hide in the freezing rain? They seem to appear the minute it lets up.

My front window, a sheet of ice!

And a steady drip...drip...drip on the front walk

Trees bending low over an ice encrusted lawn
Cozy here. Pizza day, good movies, books to read, music playing. How nice to not have anywhere to go. I'd like some sunshine soon, please, but for today this is alright.

  1. All the schools are closed here. I'm glad I just have to walk to work. No ice scraping needed. :)

  2. We had snow and ice here too. It is pretty. Just would like to see a different kind of pretty soon, like spring flowers.

  8. I hope your house sells soon! My son is on his second buyer for his, the first fell through, as they didn't get a mortgage approved. Yes there are advantages to living in a town...and if you have small town, that would be great! I grew up on the outskirts of a small town. I have to admit, I always wished I was in the town, closer. The main thing would be to be closer to grandchildren...they would appreciate that of you! I always loved running over to my grandparent's homes!!! I may have to wait for a country life when I am in heaven..ha...I hear it is beyond all imagination!

I would like to watch what I eat...but the will is weak here :)
